Community Rules

Kach helps adults give useful physical items to other people for free. These rules apply to profiles, listings, photos, messages, reviews, reports, and every other interaction on Kach.

Violations may result in content removal, warnings, feature limits, suspension, or a permanent ban. Illegal or immediately dangerous activity may be reported to the appropriate authorities when required or reasonably necessary.

Be honest and respectful

• Describe the item truthfully, including important damage, safety concerns, missing parts, or known recalls.
• Use photos you created or are authorized to use.
• Communicate respectfully. Do not harass, bully, stalk, threaten, intimidate, blackmail, or encourage violence or self-harm.
• Do not attack people based on race, ethnicity, nationality, religion, sex, sexual orientation, gender identity, disability, or another protected characteristic.
• Do not post sexual exploitation, non-consensual sexual content, or content involving the sexualization or exploitation of minors.
• Do not impersonate another person, manipulate reviews, send spam, run scams, or ask for money for a Kach giveaway.
• Do not expose another person’s address, contact information, identity documents, financial information, private messages, or other sensitive data without authorization.

Items Kach does not allow

The following may not be listed, requested, arranged, or transferred through Kach:

• firearms, ammunition, and explosives;
• illegal weapons;
• illegal drugs and controlled substances;
• tobacco, vapes, and nicotine products;
• alcohol;
• all consumable medicines, including prescription and non-prescription medicine; and
• any item whose possession, offer, or transfer is illegal.

This includes attempts to disguise prohibited items, arrange them through coded language, or move the transaction outside Kach to evade enforcement.

Items that may be allowed

• Accessibility and non-consumable medical equipment may be listed when the item and transfer are lawful and the listing accurately explains condition and limitations.
• Ordinary household tools, including kitchen knives, may be listed unless they are marketed, described, or offered as weapons.

An allowed category does not override applicable law, a safety recall, or another rule. Kach may remove a particular item when its presentation, condition, context, or intended use creates a material safety or legal concern.

Marketplace and meeting safety

• Kach giveaways are free. Never pay a deposit, delivery fee, reservation fee, or other charge through Kach.
• Inspect an item before relying on it. Use qualified help for electrical, medical, accessibility, child-safety, installation, or other specialized equipment.
• Use an appropriate meeting location, tell someone where you are going, and end the exchange if you feel unsafe.
• Do not pressure a giver to disclose an exact home address. Listing maps use an approximate location.
• Do not use Kach to solicit unrelated services, romance, investment, gambling, financial transfers, or off-platform schemes.

Automated and human moderation

Kach may send submitted text and images to OpenAI moderation services. Text classifiers can detect categories including harassment, hate, threats, sexual content, violence, self-harm, and some illicit activity. Image classifiers can detect categories including sexual content, violence, and self-harm.

Automated checks are one safety tool and cannot reliably identify every prohibited product or understand every context. User reports, blocking, and timely moderator review remain part of enforcement. Content may be blocked automatically or held for review.

Report, block, or appeal

Use Kach’s report controls when you encounter a rule violation. Use Block to stop supported interactions with another user. In an immediate emergency, contact local emergency services rather than waiting for an in-app response.

For support or to question a moderation decision, email conxconx199@gmail.com with the email on your account and enough information to identify the affected content. Do not resend prohibited material unless support specifically requests it.
